Phil N LIIT 2 HIIT is a group that will combine a substance abuse group session with a workout. The groups will be 90 minutes in length and consist of approximately 1/2 counseling session and 1/2 LIIT or HIIT workout (depending on ability).
The ultimate goal is to get you moving (even if that is simply walking to start) in order to see the benefits of exercise to your mental health, i.e. anxiety & depression, while improving your health and giving you another coping mechanism. Workouts will start with a LIIT (low-intensity interval training) workout and work up to HIIT (high intensity interval training) all dependent on ability while encouraging each other & having fun in a group atmosphere.
